Design Thoughts:

I made this flyer because I wanted to play with color and motion. This flyer allowed me to do both. In order to make this, I found a colorful wave with a black bacground. In order to get it the way I wanted to on the guitar, I used screen to remove the back background and warp to make it wrap around the guitar. I repeated this three times. In order to have some of it hidden and other parts not, I copied my guitar layer and put it on top of the waves. I then erased any parts on the second guitar layer that I didn't need to allow the wave to still appear around it. For the music staff, I used hard light, which dimmed down the colors quite a bit. I also used a hue/saturation layer for the staff to make it better match the rest of the flyer.

Contrast: Colorful elements on black background. Pink and blue waves on guitar.

Repetition: Colors from guitar and waves used in text.

Alignment: Left alignment.

Proximity: Price of guitar and sales pitch together. Types of guitars next to each other. Information next to guitar.
