Design Thoughts:

In order to make the fire believable, I used some content aware tools to make the thinner portion of the fire. I also used content aware tools to even out some of the monkey's fur and to add some fire into the monkey's eye.

Design Principles:

Contrast: Red on black background. White monkey on red and black background. Font size.

Repetition: Same font throughout. Red, fiery color.

Alignment: Text is left-aligned and aligns with the image on the right. Monkey's eye leads to the name Fire Monkey.

Proximity: The description of the Fire Monkey is close to the name.
